Community Outreach and Education

We are dedicated to teaching and supporting our community we want you to feel comfortable reaching out to us. All of our talks and lectures are approved as Continuing Education Units (CEUs) through the Certification Council for Professional Dog Trainers (CCPDT).

  • Community Education: We partner with libraries, cities, counties, shelters, and rescue organizations to provide educational resources and programs. We conduct talks at schools on topics such as dog safety, dog-related careers, and responsible ownership.
  • Behavior Assessments: We offer behavior assessments and training plans for shelter and rescue dogs affiliated with 501(c)(3) organizations.
  • Cat Behavior Consultations: We provide free cat behavior consultation phone calls to help address common issues. Cats often needlessly end up in shelters due to behavior issues like hiding and house soiling.
  • Group Classes: We reserve spots in our group classes for volunteers who wish to bring rescue or shelter dogs to participate. Dogs must be fully vaccinated to attend and have been with the shelter or rescue for at least 14 days.
  • Puppy Foster Education: We assist in the development of puppy foster education programs, since puppyhood sets the foundation for a lifetime of habits.
  • Shelter Behavior Programs: We support shelters in developing behavior modification programs to improve the well-being and adoptability of their animals.

We are here to support and enhance the bond between people and their pets through education and community engagement. Feel free to reach out to us for more information or to get involved!
